The Canvas Art Project transformed an underutilised space within the Centre into an immersive gallery environment, exploring the intersection of art and technology. Originating from a single artwork by a student of Chitrakala Parishath, the project presents four variations—two AI-generated and two hand-painted reinterpretations—creating a dialogue between algorithmic output and human expression. By placing digital prints alongside their painted counterparts, the installation examines how an image evolves as it shifts from pixels to brushstrokes, reflecting on authorship and creativity in the age of AI.
